Blueprint branches out with social-media interview series
DEANE Shepherd has branched out into media with his Blueprint Consulting outfit.
Blueprint, better known for event planning and public relations projects, recently launched a social media-based interview series, The Art Of, that provides insight on activities in fields such as investment, sponsorship, finance, marketing, manufacturing, and public relations.
The series aims to get in depth into business activities so as to educate the wider public, specifically students, young professionals, and young entrepreneurs, the company said in a press release.
“At Blueprint, one of our mandates is to continue to raise the level of performance in all our business areas one job at a time. To this end, we believed that knowledge is key to raising standards across the industry. And if we were able to feature and showcase experts in the various industries, then that information-sharing would result in brighter and more well informed professionals,” Shepherd, the company’s managing director, said.
According to Shepherd, the company has invested close to $2 million in the first phase of the rollout, with the acquisition of production and editing equipment and software.
The first round of interviews featured by The Art Of included Tahnida Nunes of Digicel on sponsorship management, Kamal Powell of Johnnie Walker on public relations, Kamal Bankay, of Dream Entertainment, on public relations, Benjamin Simms of Digicel on sponsorship activation and Jeanette Lewis and Yanique Forbes of Columbus Communications (Flow) on sponsorship management.
The interviews can be viewed on Facebook.
