MONTEGO BAY, St James — Two days after beating relegation-threatened Catherine Hall 3-0 in a rescheduled St James Football Association Sandals/ATL/Honda third-round Senior League game at the UDC field, Little Miami return to face Reggae Youths in another important game at the UDC field today, starting at 3:30 pm.

Little Miami were forced to play three games in a six-day span this week after requesting postponements earlier in the season, and they face a tough match against a hungry Reggae Youths team this afternoon.

Both teams are tied on 24 points from 14 games, along with Montego Bay United Under-21, who are not eligible for the semi-finals, one point behind second-placed Lilliput Rovers.

Four teams are in a race for three available semi-final places, to join leaders Violet Kickers, who have already booked a spot in the top four with 28 points and a game to go on Friday against last-placed Seaview FC.

Reggae Youths are coming off an 8-1 mauling of Revelation FC on Friday, while Little Miami beat Catherine Hall 3-0 on Monday, thanks to a hat-trick of goals from Androcle Poyser.

Poyser scored in the 55th, 65th and 88th minutes to improve Little Miami’s semi-final chances while putting Catherine Hall in further relegation danger.

The loss extended Catherine Hall’s winless run to 13 games, as they are stuck on 14 points from 15 games, just above Melbourne FC, Revelation FC and Seaview FC, all of whom have two games to go.
