DEFENDING champions Seprod Limited were humbled 108-116 by Kingston Wharves in the second round of the National Association of Domino Bodies Kingston & St Andrew Region Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum Business House League last week.

Having opened the defence of their Division One title with a 127-113 win over JUTC the previous round, Seprod were no match for Kingston Wharves in their first game at home this season.

The Division two champ Cari-Med were also beaten, going down 130-153 to National Baking Company at home at 20 Lady Musgrave Road, New Kingston. It was the second win from as many starts for National Baking Company.

The other team with a perfect record in the top division is Jamaica Gleaner Company, who stopped Carib Cement Company 146-132 at Rock Fort.

In other games, Wray & Nephew Limited defeated Courts Sports Club 147-129; Berger Paints Jamaica Limited, who drew their opening game with UWI Domino Club 140-140, whipped JUTC 150-114, and UWI opened their winning account with a narrow 138-136 result against Jamaica Brandy at UWI Students’ Union, Mona.

In Division Two, Ministry of Finance, Jamaica Observer and National Commercial Bank maintained their perfect start with easy victories.

Ministry of Finance drubbed Nutrition Products 146-107; Jamaica Observer was equally comfortable with their 143-101 triumph over Transport Authority, and NCB were 155-120 winners over First Heritage Co-Operative Credit Union.

In other results, Pepsi-Cola Jamaica edged Bank of Jamaica 146-145 in a high-scoring game; National Housing Trust stopped Kirk Distributors 146-142, and Petrojam blew away Flow 148-113.

Round Three takes place today with a full slate of games in both divisions.

Wray & Nephew Limited host Jamaica Gleaner Company, Caribbean Cement Company visit Cari-Med, Courts welcome National Baking Company, Berger Paints Jamaica Limited journey to Jamaica Brandy, Kingston Wharves are at home to JUTC, and UWI Domino Club entertain Seprod in Division One action.

In the lower league, Kirk Distributors host Ministry of Finance, Pepsi-Cola Jamaica welcome Nutrition Products Limited, National Housing Trust are at home to Bank of Jamaica, Petrojam visit First Heritage CCU, Flow travel to Jamaica Observer at 40-42 1/2 Beechwood Avenue, and Transport Authority journey to National Commercial Bank.
