Tired of living in her sister’s shadow
Beyoncé’s sister Solange lashed out at Jay-Z because her multimillionaire brother-in-law has reneged on repeated promises to help boost her music career, according to sources. The 27-year-old singer — who is about to release her third album — was seen launching into an astonishing attack on music mogul Jay-Z in an elevator after a party for the Met Gala. A family friend has revealed that this is the reason behind the simmering tensions that have led to the family feud, telling MailOnline: “Solange is so angry because Jay-Z promised to give her more help with her career and when she brought it up again the night of the gala, he told her he just didn’t have the time to work with her in the studio. He hasn’t kept his promise to help her. Jay keeps telling her to give him some time and he will sit down and write with her and then get her into the studio, but he hasn’t done it yet.” The source added: “Solange’s album is coming out soon but there is no buzz about it, which is a bad sign within the industry. Solange wants a major career like her sister and she’s tired of living in her shadow. She’s jealous. Jay-Z promised he would help take her to the next level but he never found the time to keep his word.”

Kylie’s cryptic message
It sure seems like Kylie Jenner has something she wants to tell us. What it is, however, is not immediately clear. Taking to Twitter on Monday the 16-year-old wrote: “Don’t mean to make you feel how I was feeling.” An accompanying picture showed the teen posing in front of sister Kim Kardashian’s wall of flowers — a Mother’s Day gift from her fiancé Kanye West. Perhaps the tweet was a response to the controversy over a picture of Kylie and her friend Jaden Smith. Last weekend a black-and-white photo of Kylie surfaced showing her straddling 15-year-old Jaden from behind on what looks like a bed.

Thanks for the love
New mom Kerry Washington has finally opened up about motherhood. Celebrating her first Mother’s Day as a parent on Sunday, the Scandal star took to Twitter to acknowledge the happy occasion after welcoming daughter Isabelle on April 21. While the notoriously private star did not give away any details about Isabelle, she thanked fans for their outpouring of support and best wishes during this special time in her life. The 37-year-old and husband Nnamdi Asomugha expanded their family three weeks ago and managed to keep the birth of their daughter a secret for almost two weeks. People reports that the actress emailed just a small selection of close family, friends and co-stars with the simple message, ‘Isabelle is here’, as they tried to keep the news private.
