Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Solange released a joint statement on Thursday to address the now infamous elevator showdown video. “As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” they said in a statement. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family. The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behaviour throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”

She was never pregnant!

A representative for Selena Gomez was denied the singer was ever pregnant. InTouch reported that the 21-year-old had suffered a miscarriage after becoming pregnant in 2012 for then-boyfriend Justin Bieber, and that the Come & Get It songstress took it as a sign that she and Justin ‘should be together forever’. However, on Wednesday a representative for the star shot down the story telling Us Weekly the report was “100 per cent fictional”. InTouch reported that the singer was initially shocked that she was pregnant but was adamant that she was going to keep the baby just like her mother — Mary Cornett — did when she became pregnant at just 16.

Prior to all the drama that followed Beyoncé, Solange and Jay-Z last week, Kelly Rowland and Tim Witherspoon managed to enjoy their nuptials drama-free, as they got married in a secret ceremony in Costa Rica last Friday. Kelly was dressed in a beautiful traditional white gown for her big day while Tim — a retired American boxer — matched his bride wearing a tailored white suit. Judging by the pictures it seemed Kelly and her beau felt like it was just the two of them, as they romantically kissed on a deck overlooking the sea. It has been confirmed that former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams, Beyoncé and her sister Solange and mother Tina Knowles, all attended the intimate ceremony.
