FALMOUTH, Trelawny — Upsetters FC and Baca Star United are through to the final of the Trelawny Football Association Monymusk Overproof White Rum Division One competition after close wins in Saturday’s return leg semi-finals.

Upsetters beat Jackson Town 2-1 for a 4-3 aggregate victory, while Baca Star edged Rio Bueno 1-0 for a 2-1 victory over both legs.

Both winners on Saturday were beaten semi-finalists last season, but managed to make progress past the last four this season and will also be promoted to the Major League.

Desron Whyne and Oneil Samuels scored for mid-season champions Upsetters in their win as Ricardo Williams had drawn Jackson Town Level just before half-time.

Whyne scored to give Upsetters the lead in the 23rd minute, while Williams pulled Jackson Town level in the 44th minute.

Samuels then scored in the 77th minute for Upsetters FC to take them into the final and keep them on course for the double.

Romario Scarlett scored in the 82nd minute for Baca Star to get the better of Rio Bueno FC as they continued their journey back to the top of football in Trelawny.
