Gas prices down five cents, diesel up $1.68
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Motorists should see a slight reduction in gasoline prices at the pumps tomorrow Thursday, May 21 with Petrojam’s drop in the ex-refinery cost.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $123.06 and $124.72 per litre, respectively, down by five cents each.
However, the price of diesel has been increased by $1.68, and effective Thursday will be sold at $126.06 per litre. Ultra low sulphur diesel is priced at $131.13 per litre, up $1.32
The price of kerosene was also increased and the fuel will be sold for $127.04 per litre up $1.13
Meanwhile propane liquid petroleum is priced at $50.97 per litre down $1.84 while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $57.10 per litre after a decrease of 48 cents.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up.
