Gas price up 84 cents, diesel down 12 cents
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should pay more for gasoline at the pumps tomorrow, Thursday, August 14 with an increase in Petrojam’s ex-refinery costs.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $125.37 and $127.03 per litre, respectively, up by 84 cents each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $126.50 per litre after a decrease of 12 cents, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by 50 cents, and will be sold for $132.49 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil increased in price by 52 cents and will be sold for $129.99 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $51.91 per litre, up by 18 cents and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $58.58 per litre after a decrease of 33 cents.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up.
