Bunji album hits the road

Differentology, the debut major label album from Trinidadian soca star Bunji Garlin, was released last Tuesday by RCA Records and VP Records.

The set is driven by the single of the same name, which made Billboard pop charts last year. The remix by Major Lazer was a summer hit in the United Kingdom.

The album also contains the follow-up hit, Truck On D Road.

According to a press release from VP Records, the album offers a “variety of hits that seamlessly blend soca with EDM, dancehall and hip hop”.

Bunji Garlin is scheduled to kick off a number of promotional dates August 30 at Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels, Texas. He stays in the Lone Star State the following day for a show at Club Zouk in Dallas.

He also has gigs in New York and Florida going into October.
