Endless Summer of Tiguan
THERE’S no better time than now to purchase a VW Tiguan as ATL Automotive Ltd, dealers for the Volkswagen brand, launched their Endless Summer of Tiguan promotion last week Thursday at their Oxford Road showroom in St Andrew.
“The Tiguan is a fresh take on the compact sport utility vehicle from VW and the obvious choice for the young professional. The Endless Summer of Tiguan will allow aspirations of VW ownership a lot easier for them,” Hugh Okoye, assistant to the managing director ATL Automotive Ltd, told Auto.
The promotion, which runs for the next five weeks in partnership with Bank of Nova Scotia, gives buyers a break from their first two monthly payments.
“VW is a lifestyle brand attracting the young, up-and-coming, and trendsetters, so we’re happy to be a part of it,” said Omar Spence, manager marketing programmes at Bank of Nova Scotia.
Interested parties simply have to visit the VW showroom and request the promotion for any trim Tiguan they plan to purchase. Once approved, payments will start on the third month.
“There will be a Scotiabank representative here at Oxford Road and we will be cross promoting it at our branches along with our social media channels,” Flora Humphrey, assistant manager personal banking Bank of Nova Scotia, added.
The launch itself featured an overview of the Tiguan from Rory McDonald, VW sales consultant, to the specially invited guests also a quick lecture on the future of the Jamaican economy from Dr Andre Haughton, lecturer at the department of economics, University of the West Indies.
After that, the real fun started with the Endless Summer Instagram Challenge, which had the audience posting their best pictures on the social media site in order to win one of the several prize packages on hand. The Tiguans were also made available for test drives.
