PCJ caps 35th year celebrations with long-service award
KINGSTON, Jamaica –The Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) is capping celebrations of its 35th year with a long service award ceremony today, Friday, September 5.
Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining is expected to give the main address at the ceremony scheduled for 2:00 pm at the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston.
PCJ was formed through the Petroleum Act (1979) and operates subsidiaries, Wigton Wind Farm Ltd, Petroleum Ethanol Ltd and PetCom.
The Corporation, in a joint venture partnership with PDVSA of Venezuela, also operates the island’s sole oil refinery Petrojam.
