Sandals host classes on World Tourism Day
SEVERAL students from the Tourism Action Club at Anchovy High School recently visited Sandals Montego Bay where they engaged in an intense brainstorming session and discussions on tourism related issues.
The activity, which was held in recognition of World Tourism Day, focused on the theme: ‘”Tourism and Community Development’ and was aimed at encouraging and building more awareness on the latest trends in Jamaica’s tourism industry.
The students eagerly shared their point of view on the tourism product and how best to encourage community tourism within their area.
