A Soulful Wrap
The musical feast at Soul in the Sun Music Festival continued on Saturday night with delightful and energetic performances from Richie Stephens, Regina Belle, Peabo Bryson, Freddie Jackson and Jeffrey Osbourne. The silky, smooth deliveries had patrons inside the Rose Hall Aqueduct on their feet rocking to the hits of the ’80s and ’90s. The festival closed with a ‘cooling down’ beach party at the Seawind Beach Club on Sunday with DJs Turbo, Squeeze and ‘The Captain’ Collin Hines guiding the musical journey and bringing a fitting end to the birth of a new music festival in the second city. Page 2 was on call for the delivery.
