Do no harm, PART 4

Ask Your Chiropractor

TRUE doctors are teachers, Latin for “learned men”, who share their knowledge and their skills for the beneficence of mankind, not men who want to be worshipped as having miracle cures and magical potions, or having the seeming ability to alter what the Creator created.

There are many medical doctors in this world who realise this, and I consider them my colleagues. Some are even angered by these facts, but are in too deep to do anything about it, or so they are deceived into believing. The numbers are growing. Other modern-day doctors have lost sight of that, unfortunately, or never had the opportunity of the knowledge in the first place. It is not their fault. Anyone can learn knowledge, which involves the facts or materials regarding a subject, but it is another level to have cognisance, which the awareness, realisation and application of the knowledge that one has acquired towards truth.

These practices and terms originally arose from Asclepius, son of Apollo, and the Greek god of healing, his staff is still used, altered into the medical caduceus/staff of Hermes, and then proceeded to travelling snake oil salesmen of elixirs, potions, and lotions – and finally to the giant, organised pharmaceutical companies who peddle these same toxins to men in white coats with stethoscopes and little gold pins with snakes wrapped around staffs, complete with angel ascension wings attached at the top. The ironic thing is that they continue to initiate smear campaigns and accuse natural practitioners of being modern snake oil salesmen.

The caduceus worn even in modern practices throughout the world is a symbol of Hermes (Mercury), who was the god of merchants and thieves, combined with the rod of Asclepius, whose symbol was a staff entwined with a snake.

Know how to distinguish between sickness management and wellness care? Wellness is something you invest in while sickness treatment is covered by insurance.

Chiropractors are in the natural health care service, not the business of sickness. Your insurance will pay for drugs, vaccines and surgeries. Use your insurance for your sickness treatment with your medical doctor, for it is written, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick”. Incidentally, the insurance company will also be the one paying for your sickness care induced iatrogenic side effects as well. That is, if you can prove “medical necessity”.

I will show you that insurance is not beneficial nor necessary, save life or death situations, perhaps. We don’t accept it because it takes high premiums from people and then does not pay out, or pays out a fraction of the cost of actual wellness care. Most policies only cover three to six visits per year. We also do not accept it, because we like to keep our prices affordable so that people can benefit from our care long term. That would be impossible with all the time and staff it would require to fill out claim forms, to file claim forms, to sign and stamp claim forms, and to wait around for reimbursements, which are always lower amounts than fees billed. We circumvent that tedious process by simply giving huge discounts up front. No waiting, no paperwork, no costly referrals, no approvals or denials, no hassles. Just low-cost wellness care. We have package discounts for our services that decrease the cost to our patrons by 40, 50 and even up to 80 per cent. We have approached the major carriers and informed them that they are advertising falsely, claiming to cover chiropractic care when they only pay a portion of a very limited number of visits throughout the year, which in reality does not do the people justice. We offered to simply give unlimited discounts to those holding their policies and eliminate all headaches, paperwork, approvals, cheque writing, referrals, etc. They misunderstood and assumed we needed referrals from them for our services.

Absolutely anyone with any valid health insurance card can show it at the time they visit our office and they will enjoy $1,500 off their first six visits. This will give you your perceived insurance benefits up front. We will absorb the cost for you at one time because your health is important to us and we can’t help you if you are waiting around for insurance, or are not coming in because we don’t accept insurance. Now the problem is solved. We accept all insurance. Just show your card and get an automatic discount. After you have received your full benefit from showing your insurance health card, then you are automatically eligible to continue saving without limitation by taking full advantage of our hugely discounted treatment packages.

Furthermore, never lose sight of the fact that 90 per cent of your overall health and fitness is determined by simply your diet and lifestyle. Purchase and consume natural, nutritious foods and drinks such as all kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables and pure water, while strictly limiting toxic and destructively poisonous things such as drugs and contaminants that were never meant to enter your body in the first place. Grow your own food whenever possible.

Finally, there are numerous safe and natural cures for most disease processes.

These merchants would never give free, truthful, sound advice such as you can treat pain, swelling, inflammation, etc at home with the proper use of ice. Ice is far too inexpensive and readily available to everyone compared to pills, and ice works. It totally eliminates the need for any more pills, in most instances.

Why would they fail to tell you that a proper diet, a well-balanced nervous system, and substances rich in alkaline ash production and highly oxygenated cellular environments can combat cancer? Because the sickly patient that is ignorant to the fact that cancer cells cannot survive and thrive in a highly alkaline, highly oxygenated environment – the patient with the poorly developed or severely damaged immune system taking in substances that are toxic and producing acid ash, poorly oxygenated cellular environments – are the ones who are most likely to be forced to purchase very expensive cancer treatment drugs to manage their condition for the rest of their lives. All the while the doctors knowing that there is no publicly known medical cure for cancer. And they scoff at and attempt to discredit proven natural cures for this horrific disease process.

Are the scales beginning to fall off?

There are reputable physicians out there who sincerely want to help people. Just be aware that there are also ones who do not. The latter are the ones you should stay away from. The ones truly interested in you being healed will encourage you to seek out the most cost-effective, safest, most natural approaches available to you, either first, or in conjunction with their medical care. Why should an honest person care how, where or with whom you get better as long as you get better?

I don’t care how you get better, as long as you do. Let it be known that I am not against all medication, or proper medication. If you can’t get rest, which the body needs to heal, due to excruciating pain, then by all means take a pain pill if you don’t have 20 minutes to wait for the ice to work. If you have a life-threatening situation, please seek emergency care. Just be aware that odds are you will develop another condition as a result of that care.

You see, invasive surgeries that take place in institutions that breed bacteria can and do cause serious infections, which can compound other health problems and then indirectly affect the heart. As with everything else non-critical, however, moderation is the key. I am against unnecessary medication, or over-medicating and unnecessary surgeries, which statistics show are possibly more than 80 per cent of those recommended and performed. If you can manage naturally, then it is intelligent to do so.

Furthermore, I do not follow a modern-day oath that states I have the power to take away or save your life as those who swear by the modern Hippocratic Oath recite. If you will trust me with the opportunity to assist you with natural wellness care, then my work is worth waking up for every single day – yet I hesitate to call it work because when you love what you do for a living, it is hardly burdensome. I consider my efforts are a service to human kind. Fortunately for my conscience, I have never heard of or witnessed anyone losing their life as a result of a natural chiropractic adjustment administered by a qualified and experienced doctor of chiropractic. For this, I am eternally thankful. It validates and justifies my career choice.

Next week, this column will return to natural, safe, wellness care and remedy/regimen choices. I sincerely thank the readers for their patience and consideration in my attempt to educate the public so that they can utilise their free will to make sound, informed decisions relating to their health and wellness and that of their families.
