Reggae Youths, Melbourne hold advantage after first-leg semis
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Reggae Youths and Melbourne FC have taken leads after Tuesday’s first-leg semi-finals in the St James Football Association Sandals/ATL Senior League over Lilliput Rovers and Marl Road, respectively, at Jarrett Park.
Reggae Youths, last year’s beaten finalists, scored a 2-0 win over Lilliput Rovers in the second game of the double-header after Melbourne FC had beaten promoted Marl Road 1-0 in the opening game.
Oshane Thompson in the 12th minute and Oshane Russell in the 28th minute scored for Reggae Youths, while Kamal Smith got Melbourne’s goal in the 46th minute.
The return legs will be played at Jarrett Park tomorrow.
