Students of Mount Airy Primary and Infant School in Westmoreland write individual pledges to protect the environment on a tree set up by Sandals, Beaches and Grand Pineapple Negril. Several students also participated in a post card competition and got lessons in environmental sustainability a day ahead of World Environment Day, which is being observed today.

Students at the Mount Airy Primary and Infant School in Westmoreland line up to add their pledges on the eco-pledge tree set up by Sandals Resorts (Negril). The tree formed part of pre-World Environment Day activities coordinated by Sandals, Beaches and Grand Pineapple Negril yesterday. The other activities were a post card competition and lessons on environmental conservation.

The finished eco-pledge tree displays the students’ environment conservation plans.

LASCO Reap boys
