Clarks Town blank Spicy Hill in Trelawny semis
FALMOUTH, Trelawny — Clarks Town beat mid-season champions Spicy Hill 3-0 in Sunday’s first-leg semi-finals of the Trelawny Football Association Monymusk Plantation Rum Major League at the Elleston Wakeland Centre in Falmouth.
Davian Williams scored twice for Clarks Town, who are unbeaten against Spicy Hill this season after beating them 2-0 and drawing their other game.
In the other semi-final first-leg gameon Saturday, Coopers Pen and Harmony drew 1-1, also at Elleston Wakeland Centre.
Coopers Pen took the lead through Andre Palmer in the 45th minute. An own goal in the 57th minute, however, saw the teams on level terms going into next Sunday’s return-leg.
In the other game, Williams scored in the 29th and 85th minutes, while Dhane Johnson scored in the 69th minute for Clarks Town who ended the game with 10 players after Odaine Peart was sent off in the 88th minute.
