MUMBAI — An Indian shopkeeper washes mud from ginger as he sets up his roadside vegetable shop in Mumbai on Friday. India’s industrial output and inflation quickened, official data showed on Friday, suggesting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reforms were helping revive economic activity. However, analysts maintain the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) would wait till end of the monsoon rains before taking a call on its interest rate policy. Consumer prices rose 5.01 per cent in May from a year ago and from 4.87 per cent increase in April. (PHOTO: AFP)
