Five more U-20 Reggae Girlz arrive in Haiti
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – An additional group of five Jamaican players arrived in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, on Wednesday afternoon ahead of Thursday’s first game against St Vincent and the Grenadines in the Under-20 Women’s Caribbean Championship.
There are now 18 players in the Jamaican squad.
Simone Wark, who attends University of Carolina, is slated to join the team on October 20, should the Reggae Girlz make it to the final stage of the tournament.
The Hue Menzies-coached Jamaicans begin their Group B campaign against St Vincent and the Grenadines tomorrow at the Stade Sylvio-Cator.
