Two JUTC employees arrested
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Police say they have arrested two employees of the State–owned Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) for stealing from the bus company.
Former senior superintendent of police, Radcliffe Lewis, who is now head of the Franchise Protection Department at the JUTC, said the men have been charged with simple larceny.
Police report that at about 5:30pm two men were caught trying to leave the JUTC compound in Kingston with a container filled with compressor oil.
They were arrested and charged.
