PATRONS should prepare for double the fun at Bacchanal Fridays at Mas Camp in St Andrew, this evening. Two soca lovers will enjoy general entry to the event for one cover charge.

“We have been enjoying very good crowds this season and we appreciate the fact that the Mas Camp has become the entertainment venue of choice on Fridays since the beginning of the series on February 12. This promises good support for the main events — Beach Jouvert, Bacchanal J’Ouvert and the road march,” said Charmaine Franklin, a director of Bacchanal Jamaica —the event organisers.

This week’s theme is Bacchanal Beach Cooler fete.

“We encourage fans to bring in their coolers with the drinks of their choice. Naturally, our bars will still be open so those fans who don’t want to bring in coolers will still have the regular range of drinks available,” Franklin explained.

Providing the musical selections will be Trinidadian DJ Ryan Sayeed and top local selector DJ Sanjay.

Sayeed hails from Port of Spain but is currently based in Miami, Florida. He moved from playing music for small family get-togethers, to being a resident DJ at Big Phat Fish in Miami in a matter of just a year. Although his heritage is Caribbean, Sayeed tries to stay versatile in every genre of music.

DJ Sanjay will be drawing on his experience of over 17 years. He promises more music, less talking and great mixes.
