Man shot dead in May Pen
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Residents this morning summoned the police to a community in May Pen, Clarendon after a man was shot dead by unknown assailants.
The May Pen Police are at this time seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the body.
According to reports from the police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), the body is of dark complexion, slim built and about 170 centimetres (5 feet 7 inches) long. It is clad in a black T-shirt, blue denim pants and a pair of brown shoes.
Reports are that about 4:15 am, residents heard explosions and summoned the police. On their arrival the body was seen lying on its back in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds. The body was removed and taken to the morgue pending post mortem.
The police are appealing to anyone who can assist them in identifying the body to contact the May Pen Police at 986-2208, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
