Body found in Negril
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Detectives assigned to the Negril Police Criminal Investigations Branch are probing circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified man whose body was found in West End, Negril, Westmoreland on Wednesday.
The body is of dark complexion, slim build, about 5 feet 9 inches long and is believed in its early-twenties with plaited hair. It was clad in a blue shirt, blue shorts and a pair of brown shoes.
Reports are that residents saw the body about 2:00 am and summoned the police. On their arrival, the body was seen with multiple wounds. It was taken to hospital where death was confirmed.
The Negril Police are now appealing to anyone with information who can assist them in identifying the body to contact the Negril Police at 957-4268, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
