Rising singjay Jae Prynse said his latest single Ride Or Die is making strides, even before it has been offically released.

“The song is yet-to-be released, but it is getting favourable respones in the parties, online, radio stations and so on. It is one of those songs that speaks on love and about a girl that sticks with you, no matter what is going on in your life. Kinda like a Bonnie and Clyde thing,” he told the Jamaica Observer.

Produced by Ca Tamed and Live MB Music, Ride Or Die is slated to be released later this month.

Last month, the entertainer embarked on a gig in England with reggae singers Jah Bouks and Luciano. According to Jae Prynse, he was thrilled and grateful for the audience’s response to his songs.

“They (the audience) were not familiar with the songs, but they catch onpretty easily. What I did was to give a great performance and sing through all of my songs. The promoters were also impressed, so I got another booking for August 11 in Britain,” he said.

In addition to promoting Ride Or Die, Jae Prynse is also pushing other singles like Up And Running, Fi Mama andWho Feels It Knows It.

In his early 20s, Jae Prynse (real name Prince Williams) grew up on Love Lane in downtown Kingston. He said it was a tragic incident that motivated him to pursue a career in music.

His older brother and aspiring artiste, True Man Chew Stick (given name Michael Williams) was murdered in Kingston in 2009.

“I used music to escape from the negatives that surrounded me,” he said.
