Since 2011, discriminating party fans have made the trek to Ocho Rios for the high-end party series SPF.

This year, the events offer what organisers describe as the ultimate experience.

“We have a reputation for fun, and we have to constantly live up to that and surpass it. So, if a summer-themed, beach-oriented experience is what you require then SPF is where you should be from July 29-31,” explained Warren McDonald, director of M7 Events and a principal for SPF.

The parties kick off on July 29 with Forever Beach, a midnight bonfire party at Dunn’s River. This is its second year and based on the success last year it was decided to bring back the event.

“It is such a unique event. Think of a beach party starting at midnight set against the backdrop of a roaring bonfire, and to the sound of great music…it’s an awesome vibe,” said McDonald.

The weekend continues on Saturday with A-List West, a Las Vegas-style pool party at the Jewel Resort Water Park in Runaway Bay.

The weekend is anchored on Sunday by Soiree, one of the events that introduced SPF five years ago. It will be held at Pearly Beach West, located just outside of Ocho Rios.

“We are really going hard with this one. We are making it sexier. We are partnering with Taste of India Restaurant to bring really tasty food and premium bottle service,” said McDonald.
