STETHS lead the way to daCosta Cup quarters

MONTEGO BAY, St James- Defending champions St Elizabeth Technical High (STETHS) and three other former champions Cornwall College, Rusea’s High and Dinthill Technical as well as Ocho Rios High have secured at least a place in the quarterfinals of the ISSA/Flow daCosta Cup schoolboys’ football competition after back to back wins in the Inter-zone round earlier today. (Saturday)

St Elizabeth Technical extended their dominance over Lennon High beating them 2-1 at the St Elizabeth Technical Sports Complex; Cornwall College spanked 10-man Petersfield High 6-0 with Peter-Lee Vassell scoring twice, Rusea’s High clipped St James High 1-0 while Dinthill Technical held off first time qualifiers Steer Town 3-2 at Dinthill.

Ocho Rios High edged Fair Prospect 1-0 to lead Zone Five with six points.
