Can Spurs break the Man City dominance?

Can Spurs break the Man City dominance?

Tomorrow football fans will be treated to a tantalising match-up in the English Premier League and a cracker worth going miles to see in Germany. In England, the irrepressible Manchester City welcome title pretenders Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium, while in Germany, Borussia Dortmund brace for the visit of the impressive Hoffenheim.

Who, just who, can stop the imperious table-toppers and high-flying Manchester City? Could Tottenham be the team to stop this Manchester City scoring machine? Can Tottenham do what Man United failed to do? All these questions will be answered when these two heavyweights square off in this eagerly awaited clash.

After the battering Man City dished out on Manchester United in their heated derby last weekend, they will be in no mood to ease off the gas pedal as they speed to the premier league title. They have won 15 games in a row in the league, which is a record for a single season, and seems highly motivated to continue their impressive run. Tottenham, after a dip in form recently, warmed up for this clash with a ruthless 5-1 hammering of the hapless Stoke City last week and will back themselves to halt this incredible run by City.

The betting tip? A Manchester win and over 2.5 goals

The JustBet odds on the match are as follows:

*Manchester City to win $1.52, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $1,520.

*Tottenham to win $5.25, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $5,250.

*Odds of a draw, $4.30, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $4,300.

*Odds on the home team (Man City) winning the game 3-2 at full-time, $20.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $20,000.

*Odds on the away team (Tottenham) winning the game 2-3 at full-time, $40.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $40,000

*Odds on the game drawing 2-2 at full-time, $14.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $14,000!!!

For the second match on Saturday at 12:30 am (local time), the stuttering German giants Dortmund face the dangerous Hoffenheim at home in a match they simply have to win.

After starting the season on ‘fire’, Dortmund went on a terrible run of form — not winning a game since October 28 — and in crisis mode. The defeat at home to lowly Werder Bremen last Saturday was the straw that broke the camel’s back for the club’s hierarchy, which resulted in the dismissal of Coach Peter Bosz. New coach Peter Stoger started with an impressive 2-0 away victory over Mainz on Tuesday. Hoffenheim has been impressive recently and will provide a stern test for Dortmund.

The prediction — A Dortmund win and over 2.5 goals

The odds are as follows:

*Borussia Dortmund to win $1.48, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $1,480.

*Hoffenheim to win $5.30, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $5,300.

*Odds of a draw, $4.50, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $4,500.

*Odds on the home team (Borussia Dortmund) winning the game 3-2 at full- time, $18.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $18,000.

*Odds on the away team (Hoffenheim) winning the game 2-3 at full-time, $35.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $35,000.

*Odds on the game drawing 2-2 at full- time, $14.00, which means that a $1,000 bet would pay $14,000!!!!!

Bets can be placed at any of the 120 JustBet locations islandwide. Persons can visit JustBetJA.com for verification of odds and a full listing of betting options.
