Weather forecast: Afternoon showers expected across most parishes
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that showers and thunderstorms are expected across sections of eastern parishes this morning, while elsewhere should be partly cloudy.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across sections of most parishes this afternoon, while lingering showers should be expected across central and western parishes tonight.
The Met Office says the persistent trough that has been lingering across the island will last for at least another three days.
