Sean Paul scores 10th Billboard-charting album with Scorcha

Dancehall artiste Sean Paul earns his 10th Billboard-charting album with Scorcha, which debuts at number six on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

Scorcha, released May 22 via Island Records, features collaborations with Pia Mia, Shenseea, Gwen Stefani, Ty Dolla $ign and Damian Marley among others. It is is the follow up to last year’s Grammy nominated Live N Livin.

Scorcha sold 496 in pure album sales.

Sean Paul’s previous entries include four number one titles — Full Frequency, Imperial Blaze, The Trinity and Dutty Rock, which was the number one album on June 14, 2003. Dutty Rock spent a whopping 75 weeks on top.
