The day could be coming soon when airport public address systems become obsolete thanks to your Auracast-enabled Bluetooth earbuds or hearing device.
The Bluetooth technology would allow you to listen to silent public TVs in waiting rooms, airports, gyms, and restaurants.
Mark Powell, CEO of Bluetooth SIG, promises to change the way we look at Bluetooth. “The launch of Auracast broadcast audio will trigger another massive change in the wireless audio market. The ability to broadcast and share audio using Bluetooth technology will reshape personal audio and enable public venues and spaces to deliver audio experiences that will improve visitor satisfaction and increase accessibility,” Powell said.
Currently, most Bluetooth headphones offer multi-point Bluetooth audio, allowing connection to up to two headphones or speakers.
