Gas prices, diesel down $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel effective Thursday, September 8, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $4.50, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $197.16 per litre while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $201.14 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $233.76 per litre after a decrease of $4.50, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $240.75 per litre also down by $4.50.
Kerosene decreased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $212.30 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $67.65 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $75.26 per litre after a decrease of $1.49.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
