Knutsford Express Services Limited was the best-performing stock in October as it rose by 29 per cent from $7.48 to $9.64. Wigton Windfarm Limited, Cargo Handlers Limited, Everything Fresh Limited, JFP Limited, 138 Student Living Limited, EduFocal Limited, and Sygnus Credit Investments Limited USD (JMD shares) were the other best-performing stocks in October.

MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Limited (USD shares) was the worst-performing stock in October as it declined by 39 per cent from US$1.00 to US$0.61. Eppley Caribbean Property Fund Limited – Value Fund, ISP Finance Limited, KLE Group Limited, Honey Bun (1982) Limited, Radio Jamaica Limited, Ironrock Insurance Company Limited and Sagicor Select Funds Limited – Manufacturing & Distribution were the next set of stocks showing big declines in October.

FosRich Company Limited is the best-performing stock year-to-date as it remains up 408 per cent from $0.84 to $4.28. MFS Capital Partners Limited, iCreate Limited, Stationery & Office Supplies Limited, Tropical Battery Company Limited, Consolidated Bakeries (Jamaica) Limited, Main Event Entertainment Group Limited, and Everything Fresh Limited are the other stocks showing good performance year to date. ISP Finance Services Limited is the worst-performing stock so far in 2022, having declined 41 per cent since the start of the year from $38.00 to $15.10. Mailpac Group Limited, MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Limited (USD shares), tTech Limited, Salada Foods Jamaica Limited, Sygnus Real Estate Finance Limited, NCB Financial Group Limited, and Radio Jamaica Limited are the other stocks showing big declines year-to-date.

Market Sales and Events

A director of Dolla Financial Services Limited bought 876,000 shares for a consideration of $2.84 million while another director sold 806,451 shares for a consideration of $2.61 million between November 1 and 3. Directors and senior managers of Dolla bought 3,427,630 shares at $3.10 for a consideration of $10.63 million between October 28 and November 1.

Jose Antonio Cabrera Guerra has been appointed the deputy chairman of Trinidad Cement Limited effective October 27.

Marva Chung has been appointed to the board of FosRich Company Limited on November 1.

Davie Martin has resigned as manager of asset management at VM Wealth Management Limited effective October 26.

Wisynco Group Limited’s 2022 annual report has been delayed and should be submitted by November 30. Palace Amusement Company (1921) Limited expects to submit its delayed annual report by December 12.

FosRich Company Limited has declared a dividend of $0.012 to be paid on December 6 to shareholders on record as of November 18. This payment totals $60.27 million.

Eppley Limited, PanJam Investment Limited and Sagicor Select Funds Limited will consider dividend payments to shareholders at their board meetings on Friday. AMG Paper and Packaging Limited will consider a dividend on November 15 while JFP has moved its first dividend consideration to the first board meeting of 2023.
