Two bodies found in West Kingston
The bodies of two men were found on Asquit Street in West Kingston Monday morning.
Police have identified one of the men as 20-year-old Romario Edwards, a taxi driver from Arabian Sea Drive in Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11.
The other, who is still unidentified, is of dark complexion, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and was clad in a pink T-shirt, blue jeans, black, blue and white Nike slippers with cornrow hairstyle.
Police believed the men were killed between 10 last night and 6:40 this morning.
The police said residents heard loud explosions in the area on Sunday night.
About 6:40 am, lawmen were summoned to the area and on their arrival they saw the bodies.
The unidentified male was seen sitting in the driver’s seat of a white Toyota Probox with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Edwards’ body was seen lying on his side about 200 meters away with gunshot wounds.
The Kingston Western police are investigating.
