Firearm and ammunition seized in St James

ST JAMES, Jamaica— A team of officers assigned to the St James Police Division seized a firearm and one round of ammunition during an operation on Campbell Lane, Mount Salem, St James on Friday.

Reports are that about 4:30 pm, lawmen were in the area when a premises was searched and a Glock 9mm pistol with a magazine containing one 9mm round of ammunition was seized.

No one was arrested in relation to this seizure.

Investigation continues.
