Racing United returned to the top of the points table in the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Tier II competition on Saturday after beating winless Baptist Alliance 7-0 at York Sports Complex in St Thomas.

The in-form Raheem Edwards scored four times for the St Catherine club as they improved to 17 points, one more than Meadforest FC who led going into the round of games, and Treasure Beach FC who came from two goals down to outscore Lime Hall Academy 3-2 at the St Elizabeth Technical Sports Complex.

Edwards, who did not score in their previous game, took his tally to 24 goals in seven games, well ahead of the next best scorer in the competition, while Mikyle Williams scored two goals.

Meadforest FC were held to a goalless draw by Albion Mountain FC at Bell Chung Oval as they slipped into second place where they were joined by Treasure Beach.

Sievon Thompson also scored a double for Tru-Juice who beat Hopewell United 2-0 at the Tru-Juice Sports Complex as they moved back into the top four on 14 points.

Reno FC ended a three-game losing run after they came from a goal down to beat Falmouth United 4-1 at Llandilo Sports Complex.

Michael Kerr scored twice for Reno FC, Jashane Foster and Shane Ricketts got one each after Antonio Roberts had given Falmouth United the lead after 10 minutes.
