Alkaline lays dad to rest
Recording artiste and entertainer Earlan Bartley, known popularly as Alkaline, on Friday said farewell to his father Earl alongside a host of family members and friends.
He died on June 12, one day after his 59th birthday.
The thanksgiving service was held at Stony Hill Church of God of Prophecy with interment following at Dovecot Memorial Gardens.
Friends remembered Earl as “Rooster” and “Specky” as they shared fond memories and tributes.
