Byron Messia, Aidonia added to lineup for Chris Brown concert in Kingston
Dancehall artistes Byron Messia and Aidonia are the latest additions to the lineup that will join American singer Chris Brown for his Under The Influence concert at the National Stadium in Kingston on August 27.
St Kitts-based Messia has catapulted to fame behind his hit single Talibans which earned him a multi-album deal with Interscope Records.
Veteran deejay Aidonia emerged on the dancehall music scene in the early 2000s. Among his chart-topping hits are Run Road, Fi Di Jockey, Yeah Yeah Yeah, Tip Pon Yuh Toe, Breeze, and Banga.
They will join previously announced Jamaican-American singer Sean Kingston as well as dancehall favourites Teejay and Ding Dong as part of the star-studded lineup.
The event is part of BZR Weekend—the Jamaican edition—which is being spearheaded by Solid Agency, Burke Bodley, VEW Live, LLC + PLXYBOY, and Jay Upscale.
The full list of events for the weekend will include Haute Monde Jamaica [invitation only], Memba Dis! Ultimate Ol’ Skool Party, Paradise Brunch Party, Indigo and the Under The Influence concert.
It is anticipated that 45,000 patrons will be in attendance at the concert.
