The Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA), as it looks to again recognise and award the hard work and resilience of local companies, on Tuesday, September 12, staged its M&E Awards nomination cocktail held at the BMW showroom in Kingston.

The event, attended by over 200 guests saw recognition being given to approximately 35 companies and 14 outstanding individuals vying for over 23 awards as they look to be named among the country’s top manufacturers and exporters in the respective categories judged by their innovation, achievement, growth and commitment to the industry. A precursor to the annual awards gala slated to be held on September 30 at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, the events are this year being held under the theme: ‘Adapt Innovation, Embrace productivity to drive global success.’

Business Social shares recaps from the event.
