Jamaica rocked by 6.1 earthquake

Jamaica was rocked by strong earthquake early Monday morning.

The Earthquake Unit confirmed that the island was shaken by a preliminary magnitude 6.1 quake, located approximately 165 kilometres north of Ocho Rios, St Ann at 1.00am.

The quake was reportedly felt across several parishes.

There were no reports of injury or damage.
