#OTeam honours

The Jamaica Observer Media Group (JOMG)recently hosted its annual staff awards to give due recognition to the team members who continue to contribute and serve as shining stars to the #OTeam.

Hosted at Terra All-Suite Hotel, the leadership of all brands saluted their hardest-working in the year 2024 and most-promising.

JOMG Managing Director Dominic Beaubrun expressed appreciation for all the hard work put in by team members, making special recognition of the awardees. He urged attendees to continue giving of their best as we work to being #AlwaysAhead.

Mark Pike, ATL Group HR development director, brought a message of congratulations and encouragement. For his part, he recognised the work of the #OTeam and the contribution to the society at large.

The awards process begins with each department identifying the team member who best demonstrates the values of the company and epitomises excellence in their respective area. Following that, there is a round of interviews and presentations from which a JOMG team member of the year is selected.

On the night of the awards, prizes and awards are presented to each department winner culminating with the announcement of the overall team member of the year.

There is also the presentation to the ultimate Heart of the House team member, which is decided by team members across all departments.
