Jamaica taps into packaging expertise of Ecotact
The Indian firm Ecotact, a global leader in hermetic packaging solutions serving food supply chains across more than 60 countries, is now offering its products in Jamaica.
The move signals the introduction of advanced packaging technology which encloses a product inside an airtight and moisture-tight container to completely block the exchange of gases and liquids. This is aimed at addressing key post-harvest challenges across the agriculture sector.
The partnership is expected to support local producers and exporters in enhancing product quality and preserving freshness, in line with international market standards.
