KINGSTON, Jamaica — Caribbean Broilers (CB) Chicken, through a longstanding Tru-Juice 5K Run/Walk partnership, donated 10 cases of chicken to the Linstead Public Hospital, helping to support an institution that provides critical healthcare services to thousands of residents across Linstead and the surrounding communities.

The donation will assist the hospital’s meal programme, helping to provide nutritious meals for patients and staff while supporting the hospital’s ongoing operations.

Camile Wallen-Panton, chief executive officer (CEO) of the Linstead Public Hospital, welcomed the donation and highlighted its impact on the institution.

“The donation of chicken to the hospital is greatly appreciated and warmly welcomed. Such a contribution plays an important role in supporting the well-being of our patients and staff, and it was very timely at this time of the year,” she said.

Wallen-Panton noted that the ongoing partnership continues to create meaningful benefits for the hospital and the people it serves.

For Samantha Fisher, assistant brand manager at CB Foods, the initiative reflects the company’s belief that good food can play a meaningful role in supporting healthier communities.

Fisher added that the donation is part of CB Chicken’s broader commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
