Gas prices up $4.50, diesel up $2.44
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, July 9, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $205.70 per litre after an increase of $4.50, while 87-octane will be sold for $198.28, an increase of $4.50.
Automotive Diesel will be sold for $206.50 after a $2.44 increase, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $222.08 per litre, up $3.06.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $75.82 per litre, down $0.25, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $84.79 per litre, up $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective markups to these prices.
