Select Brands at the Food Awards
There was plenty to celebrate at this year’s Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards, but for Select Brands, the evening marked the beginning of a milestone year.
Surrounded by customers, partners, chefs, and friends from across Jamaica’s hospitality industry, the company used the occasion to unveil its 15th anniversary logo, inviting those who have been part of their journey to raise a glass to 15 years of growth, partnership, and shared success.
“We could not think of a better place to begin celebrating this milestone than the Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards,” said Tania McConnell, corporate marketing manager of Select Brands. “Many of the people who have helped shape our journey were in one place. Over the past 15 years we have built our business on relationships, trust, and a shared passion for this industry. This anniversary is really about saying thank you to our customers, our partners, our team, and the brands that have believed in us.”
Since its founding, Select Brands has grown into one of Jamaica’s leading premium beverage distributors, with key milestones, including the acquisition of Stone’s Ginger Wine.
The unveiling also marked the start of a year-long celebration. Alongside customer and partner experiences, the company is exploring initiatives to support Jamaica’s hospitality industry through scholarships, mentorship, and internship opportunities, with a signature 15th anniversary celebration planned for later this year.
“For us, this anniversary is not just about looking back,” McConnell added. “It is about celebrating the people who have been part of our story and investing in the future of an industry that has given us so much. The best is yet to come.”
The Select Brands booth featured an expansive collection of wines and spirits, with celebrated labels such as Bogle, Daou and Catena prominently on display.
