Young entrepreneur Aaden Dunn expands Unstoppable Enterprises into home essentials
KINGSTON, Jamaica — At just 17-years-old, entrepreneur and Kingston College graduate Aaden Dunn is taking another bold step in business, expanding the offerings of Unstoppable Enterprises into the growing home essentials market.
Already recognised by many as one of Jamaica’s youngest entrepreneurs, Dunn said the decision to diversify was driven by increasing demand as the country’s construction sector continues to grow.
“The reason why I’ve decided to pivot into offering home essentials is because there’s a need for it, especially in Jamaica,” Dunn said. “Everywhere you turn, there’s a new building going up.”
The expanded product line includes faucets, bathroom vanities, entrance tables, ceiling fans, shower panels, wall art and carpets, with Dunn aiming to position Unstoppable Enterprises as a one-stop destination for homeowners, contractors and developers.
The company has already built a reputation through its range of water coolers, water heaters and vending machines, products that helped establish the brand over the last few years.
“One thing that we’re known for is me being a teenage entrepreneur, along with my brand of water coolers, water heaters and vending machines,” he said.
With summer temperatures climbing, Dunn is also promoting a new line of branded ceiling fans, which he says combine affordability with durability.
“If you want a fan, we have one that will last you a very, very long time. We’re not talking about one year or two years. We’re talking about five-plus years, even longer if you take care of it properly,” he said.
According to Dunn, the ceiling fans will retail from $17,000 and feature Bluetooth connectivity and other modern features, offering what he describes as strong value for money.
Beyond introducing new products, Dunn credits disciplined inventory management and cost control for helping keep the business profitable.
“It’s better you’re in stock than out of stock,” he said. “Try to keep overheads as minimal as possible. That’s how I keep my operations going.”
As part of the company’s expansion, Unstoppable Enterprises will host a summer sale from July 28 to August 10, featuring discounts across its range of home products.
“We’re going to be a one-stop shop for everything home,” Dunn said.
Customers can visit the company’s showroom at 11 Lindsey Crescent, Kingston 10, located off Dunrobin Road inside TechPro Business Solutions.
Dunn added that contractor discounts will also be available as the business looks to strengthen its presence in Jamaica’s home improvement market.
