CONSISTENCY, confidence, and patience finally paid off for the connections of
Mo Pai on Saturday, August 22, 2026, as the three-year-old bay colt picked up his first career win in a $1.05-million Maiden Condition Race.

Trained by Richard Azan and ridden by Bebeto Harvey, Mo Pai found his groove on his eighth start to score by 2½ lengths going five furlongs (1,000m) straight.

Mo Pai broke well and disputed the early lead with Sonador (Dane Dawkins), Behave (Richie Shakes), and Classy Beaver (Phillip Parchment). Crossing the dummy rails onto the main track, Sonador took command with Mo Pai pressing in second and Behave in third.

But inside the final half-furlong (100m) Mo Pai changed gears and found extra. The bay colt powered home to score easily at the wire. Sonador held second, with Behave finishing third.
