Vows – We Found Love

There was nothing extraordinary about their initial encounter… or so it appeared. United States navy air traffic controller Christopher Blake met registered nurse Tamara Harding while he was stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas, in 2014, while she was working as a paediatric emergency department nurse at the local children’s hospital. After dating for seven months, Tamara made the decision to move to San Diego, California, where Christopher was living. h e prosposed to her on her 29th birthday, July 20, 2017, at La Jolla Beach in San Diego, California. Vows details the modern rustic wedding celebration.

I now pronounce you

On Saturday, November 10, 2018 on the cliffside overlooking the Caribbean Sea at Borghinvilla, Discovery Bay, Tamara and Christopher said their I do’s.

Christopher wore a tan linen suit with a pink tie. The groomsmen wore tan linen vests and pants with pink bow ties. The bridesmaids wore Amsale Aberra blush V-neck illusion dresses. Clutching a bouquet of ivory roses, Tamara entered to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Die With You. She was a vision of elegance in a white sweetheart Mia Solano tulle and lace mermaid gown featuring bead and ruffles on the lower skirt.

Reverend Courtney Walters officiated the ceremony and later declared the couple husband and wife. Formalities out of the way, Tamara and Christopher left the altar to Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s Love Never Felt So Good.

The reception…

…was held under a white draped tent on the cliffside at Borghinvilla. It was as exciting a time for the newly-weds as it was for their guests. Jennifer and her team used gold, rose gold, blush and white accents to enhance the tent. The bridal party made their entrance to Happy by Pharrell, followed by the newly weds to TI’s Bring Em Out.

Post-formalities, guests enjoyed a sumptuous three-course meal and witnessed the cutting of the three-tiered chocolate, vanilla and fruitcake topped with the words ‘Better Together’ by Joy of Food.

The newly-weds opened the dance floor to Major’s Why I Love You. Guests, thereafter, joined them partying into the night to the sounds of the Borghinvilla’s deejay.

The honeymoon

The couple spent their honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia.
