Disability sensitisation for first responders

Nathan Ebanks Foundation (NEF) Founder and President Christine Staple-Ebanks (centre), the Jamaica Fire Brigade’s Public Relations Officer Emilio Ebanks, and Chief Fire Prevention Officer, Assistant Commissioner Julian Davis-Buckle, met up at the brigade’s Fire Prevention Leadership Empowerment Seminar under the theme ‘Making Fire Prevention a Big Deal’ on February 27 in Kingston.

Ebanks was invited to present to the Jamaica Fire Brigade team on disability sensitisation for first responders. The two entities will partner in the near future for the Jamaica Fire Brigade to implement further guidelines and training surrounding the matter of inclusion for persons with disabilities.

NEF is a charitable organisation which seeks to bring awareness to issues relating to children with special needs.
