Boscobel pair to face court on ganja charges
ST MARY, Jamaica — A Boscobel man and woman charged with ganja possession are set to appear before the St Mary Parish Court tomorrow.
Charged with possession of ganja and dealing in ganja are: 37-year-old Clarence Richard and 37-year-old Tamara Brown both of Boscobel, in the parish.
According to police reports, the two were arrested after detectives assigned to the St Mary Narcotics Division found 357 pounds of compressed ganja in an abandoned building along Gully Road in Boscobel, St Mary last Thursday.
The lawmen said the drug was found in a bag inside the building during a 2:30am operation on the day in mention.
The ganja is estimated to be worth $2,142,000 on the street. One woman and a man were arrested in relation to the seizure.
