Audley Shaw for PSOJ forum
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Minister of Finance and the Public Service Audley Shaw will be the guest speaker at this week’s Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) President’s Forum scheduled for tomorrow, at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston.
Shaw will be speaking on the topic, “Economic Growth and the IMF”.
Specifically, he will be addressing plans for moving the economy forward and how he will treat with the ongoing International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme.
The forum, which starts as at 7:45 am, offers Shaw a prelude to his first presentation in the House of Representatives since returning to the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday afternoon, when he is expected to speak in the debate on the carry-on budget, which will finance government’s expenditure until the passage of the new budget expected in May.
